General Genetics Consultation Service


The general genetics consultation service is staffed by board-certified clinical geneticists who provide diagnosis and management for children and adults.  Individuals referred to our service for evaluation may have birth defects, delays in learning and or unusual growth pattern.  Areas of special expertise include the diagnosis and management of Down syndrome and other chromosomal problems, 22q11.2 deletion syndrome (e.g DiGeorge or velocardiofacial syndrome), Prader-Willi syndrome, inherited disorders of connective tissue, and inherited hearing loss.
